FRANK KOSA
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
Frank is a distinguished and Emmy Award-nominated writer-producer and field director. He was nominated for writing and producing “The Story of God” for Morgan Freeman’s Production Company, Revelations. “The Story of God” has been the highest-rated TV show ever in the history of National Geographic. He was an AD, production manager and assistant on a slew of films and TV shows whose clients included Universal, Warner Bros., Sony, Touchstone, and American Playhouse to name a few. He went on to write or produce shows for National Geographic, The Travel Channel, The Science Channel, The History Channel, Discovery, Animal Planet, Lifetime, Bloomberg TV, HGTV, TruTV, Sony TV, Paramount, TLC, The Fine Living Channel, and A&E. His projects included the six-part “Story of God with Morgan Freeman” (which earned him an Emmy nomination and has been extended into a second season); the first season of “Booze Traveler;” a six-hour miniseries, “The Revolutionary War;” an eight-hour documentary called “The Jesus Experience;” and a four-hour special for A&E “Christianity: The Second Millennium.” Frank has won a Cable Ace and other statuary, but the point is not to gather trophies. It’s to engage. With people – the audience. His goal is to connect, rivet, amaze. There is never a need for smoke and mirrors. Real-life provides more content and astonishment than he – and we all – can ever use.
